System Integrator or IT Consultant

Seattle WA

We are looking for a new consultant with solid base of technical experience and strong interpersonal skills. This consultant, in cooperation with the technical lead, coordinates conducts and oversees technical processes and best practices for data-related electronic discovery activities; configures and deploys our proprietary software and systems; assists with onsite electronic collection and maintenance of chain-of-custody; provides reviewer support and training; and assists in production delivery and support. We are excited to consider any candidates that might have a lesser technical background, but are interested in e-discovery or forensics and are eager to be trained or to learn more. Candidates do not necessarily need to have formal experience as a system integrator. Salaries are negotiable and competitive. Benefits include: medical, dental, vision and 401(k). Performance based bonus and profit-sharing available. On-site work is common; occasional telecommuting may be arranged depending on project requirements. Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of experience working with IT systems in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with tape backups and tape restoration
  • Exposure to or Experience with Forensics (Encase or other applications)
  • Working experience with MS SQL database applications, Windows, UNIX, Linux, DOS, Mac OSX, networking architectures, TCP/IP, LAN support, and systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and Unix mail systems
  • Knowledge of and experience with the concepts, management, retrieval, and use of electronically stored information
  • Outstanding writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Organization and time management skills including the ability to effectively multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Lift approximately 50lbs – moving equipment, installation
  • Valid California Drivers License
Pluses:
  • Familiarity with the litigation discovery process, experience with large-scale document review, production, and trial preparation
  • Experience using industry-standard Litigation Support utilities/applications such as Concordance, Summation, Encase, etc.
